Yea, I don't see that going anywhere. I think we're looking at really low latency, super high bandwidth wireless connections being the way forward, though power is still a problem. Hopefully someone smart figures it out. |

Er, yea, I'm not sure Tesla was really working on the VR dream.  Wireless power maybe. You talk to the right Tesla nuts, and they'll tell you he blew up a big swathe of Siberia.
