The trash bin that sucks.
http://www.tomsguide.com/us/Trash-Bin-V ... 11997.htmlThere's something similar in concept at my brothers and mom's apartments. There is a small maybe 20cm wide spot/hatch in the kitchen at the floor level where you can sweep breadcrumbs and other small trash to and then just push the thingy aside with your toes and it activates the central vacuum cleaner and sucks the stuff in.

I really need one of those. So many times we sweep the kitchen floor and all the crap ends up in one corner, it either gets forgotten or you just can't get all of it up!

haha. Get a Roomba... or a Scooba. Of course, you're trading money for lazy... and usually lazy and money don't go hand in hand.
