This might seem like a retarded question, so please forgive my ignorance, but hopefully a question that requirs a short answer! Ok, so you have a PSU that has a switch on to switch from the higher UK voltage to the lower USA voltage. Is that all that matters? What I mean by that, if I was to supply someone in the US with a PC that was built entirely of parts meant for shipping in the UK or even the other way around, will the PC function correctly? Or are the individual components of a PC designed to work on set voltages? My initial thought is that it will work - because the parts are just parts, but I want to be sure before I blow up some poor american and get done for acts of terrorism! |

all you need to do is swap that switch in the back and you should be good. Internally the computers are identical. So yea, you should be fine. |

..And later in the news, a British man/terrorist responsible for an explosion caused by a rigged PC was arrested and beaten to a pulp as the police stormed his house... |
