Post American power vs UK power
This might seem like a retarded question, so please forgive my ignorance, but hopefully a question that requirs a short answer!

Ok, so you have a PSU that has a switch on to switch from the higher UK voltage to the lower USA voltage.

Is that all that matters? What I mean by that, if I was to supply someone in the US with a PC that was built entirely of parts meant for shipping in the UK or even the other way around, will the PC function correctly? Or are the individual components of a PC designed to work on set voltages?

My initial thought is that it will work - because the parts are just parts, but I want to be sure before I blow up some poor american and get done for acts of terrorism!

all you need to do is swap that switch in the back and you should be good. Internally the computers are identical. So yea, you should be fine.

..And later in the news, a British man/terrorist responsible for an explosion caused by a rigged PC was arrested and beaten to a pulp as the police stormed his house...
