Erm, I think you may have misunderstood me on that one. But then from your reply, you might have understood me perfectly.
But just incase.
Lets say, you own 1 game. Most games give you the opportunity to earn 1000G. (G is for GamerScore)
So far, your profile shows this
1 Game, Total Available Score: 1000 (this is the max score you could have, not the score that you actually have. For instance, you might have only 500 points 'claimed', but still a max of 1000 is available.)
But then, you think "Ooh! Mass Effect 2 Demo! Yay!"
So you go ahead and download it. (Or any XBLA demo)
Now your profile shows this
2 Games, Available G: 2000G
But you only own one game, and unless you buy the Mass Effect 2 game, you can never earn that other 1000G.
I learned this the hard way, so much so that I Don't care any more, but still. It's gay when your mate downloads FIFA (or some other game you never play) so that your Gamescore shows a big fat 0/1000G
