  4,000 euro supercomputer:p These guys built a super computer out of a pc with 4 NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 graphics cards. Total cost is under 4,000 euros. They say it outperforms a 300 CPU supercomputer made of core2duo cpus. I find that statement a tad questionable (300!?) but whatever. It's still neat.

Pity there are no games that would make use of that power. Games probably lag like hell on it.

Obviously I didn't have much to do with the medical faculty (read: nothing at all) but they were right next to us. Used to play squash there...laugh at all the skinny dudes. 
On another note: this is actually the future. Nvidia is working on a CPU that would combine the CPU and GPU once again into one unit, like in the days of old.
