Just a heads up on a rather annoying and major bug that has occurred in patch 1.3. You might get lucky and not get it but if you go to Whiterun make a hard save before you enter. There seems to be an issue where sometimes (and so far only reported in Whiterun on PC) the town decides you have a bounty when you don't. It isn't always immediately obvious either; for me I could go into the town just fine and even talk to guards but the instant I went into Dragonsreach the Jarl, the whole court and all the guards went after me and even followed me out of the town. Especially irritating as most of the court can't be killed.

If you get this bug the only way to remove it is to commit a small crime then pay off the bounty when they come to arrest you (or resist arrest/go to jail, whichever you prefer). Even using console commands won't get rid of it

Haha, thanks for the heads-up Pev! I don't know about you, but I just tell puny guards I'm a Thane and that they should think twice about arresting me.

Possibly. I didn't break many laws, and if I did it was by accident. So I may not have reached the limit to my "get out of jail free" cards.
