armor is very useful, if you're not good that is. I mean, +4 to saving throws kicks major ass, not to mention 20% MR.
As for tips to kill Adalon; there are only two:
->use skeleton warriors, they can hold out really long aginst her. Majority of her spells (and breath ofcourse) are cold-based and as well know, most undead are immune to cold. As are skeleton warriors. You'll need them to keep her busy, certainly in the first 2-3 round to take the cold damage etc.
->take her out FAST: it's better to do an all-or-nothing attack with everythging you've got than to slowly wear her down: she has a tendency to quickly cast "heal" on herself, and more than once. It's kinda a bummer to see a dragon go from "near death" to "uninjured".
And ofcourse, if you're gonna use magic, use fire-based magic. Melf's meteors come to mind for the mages. Use physical force overall tho; she's not too big a spellcaster, more of a brawler.

It's just... I'm not sure. I think Korgan would look good in it, and his ac wouldn't suffer that badly coz he's wearing gloves of dex. Which of course my main doesn't need.
EDIT: Uh-uh, how about that item the demon would give me. Any good?

If I remember correctly it's a pretty cool halberd. But if noone is specialized in halbers (who ever is?) it's kinda pointless. Still...why not get it anyway? Personally I plan on killing absolutely everything I can.

I don't tend to give it to Korgan, cause i stick him in some plate mail which gives him a base AC of -1
so it automatically adds 4 to his AC, and when Korgan is raged his saving throws are good enough anyway so i don't bother.
Normally give it to a thief or possibly Viconia if i want her to be really immune to magic

The halberd the demon gives you is cool, but not THE 1337 pwn...it's ok, but not great. (but it is a +4, of course. ) The one you find on the band of adventurers just outside the drow city is better imho.
Halberd from demon
halberd on adventurer party
my all time SOA fav weapon that one, r0x0rs!

Nah, this baby gets damage on positively everyone Well, ok, there are better weapons; but it feels much cooler to wave around with a halberd when the rest of the world seems to hate 'em. Ever seen the mayhem you can cause with 5 stars in halberd with the Ravager? Rips right thru everything. ANd Ixil's spike can even pin Melissan; another underestimated weapon. Blah.
Wave is pretty cool in ToB; it takes out them "burning man" bastards in one blow w00t.
I love halberds. And Axes. And hammers. And spears.

My g/f totally digs the Pixie prick for some crazy reason. It's insane... she's knocked some pretty powerful foes unconscious with the damn thing.
...and she digs the unicorn spear.

Shiny calls you unicorn? uuugh...
Thanx for all the info up to now guys. She's going down in a while. First I have to get out of this particular dungeon though. Inhabited by her short-tempered cousin Firkie.

errr...I never said that Shiny called me a unicorn or anything.
BTW, she's a druid (for anyone that doesn't remember) so she has some pretty wierd weapons restrictions. Spears, however, are ok. Thus the unicorn spear... and I guess daggers are ok, thus pixie's prick.
btw, I heard Ox had a pixie-sized prick.
