Maybe it was time for a seperate thread, so I wouldn't have to pollute the other one with my ravings of killing dragons. Also, after talking with a friend who's playing the game too I found out that I missed out on the Mabari warhound by accident! Pev's gonna kill me. But I really couldn't help it... And jesus, this game is pretty huge. After killing that dragon I expected to be pretty much done with that dungeon but it just keeps going deeper and deeper into the earth and I keep running into tons of not-so-easy enemies. I mean, skeletons (of all kinds) are a breeze if it's just 2-3 of them, but with 5+ they keep knocking down fighters and performing backstabs. Very hard to manage sometimes. I got Morrigan the flame spell which works well against undead, but things always get messy with friendly fire. And yesterday night at 3.30 AM I'd just beaten a TOUGH magic users who kept summoning undead and lightning storms...gah. In the end I just used Rinox and his insane HP to draw fire from him and have Morrigan and Leiliana pelt him with arrows and magic. Took me at least 40 minutes to take him down, including 2 or 3 emergency potion making from Morrigan to keep Rinox alive throughout. And now my inventory is BULGING with items and I can't pick anything up because I haven't performed the inventory upgrade yet...mmm but maybe now that I'm filthy rich I should just buy the extra backpacks. We'll see. Big, forgotten ruins with a dragon and having to go back to town to sell of loot...feels like BG2. Someone call PETA btw! |

I renamed this thread slightly so we could talk about the game and plot without pissing anyone off. So...for all of you yet to play or finish it: MEGASPOILERS Man, I kept losing party members!! I never picked up the dog (by accident), killed Wynn when i first met her, Zehvran backstabbed me with the Antivian Crows, Shale went crazy on my ass when I chose to save the anvil of the void (killed her) and Allistair left in anger when I made Anora queen and decided that Loghain shouldn't be executed. Thankgod my main party was me, Sten, Leliana and Morrigan. So I didn't care too much. Towards the end Loghain took Leliana's place...he's an amazing support fighter. So Peltz, how did your game end? Mine with Anora on the throne, Loghain alive, Morrigan gone (did you do her romance?), and no one sacrificing himself. Also, I made the queen swear allegiance to Orzimmar and together we reclaimed much of the lost thaigs in the Deep Roads. Oh and was made into a living Paragon! Some fights were incredibly hard, but rewarding. I'm looking forward to replaying the game with another origin, so maybe I shoulddn't ask for too many spoilers. But whatever right? You probably played a lot different as a persuasive mage. EDIT: Oh and LMAO @ Sandal. Enchantments? |

My 'primary' main character, Rinox the Terrible. Champion/Berserker specialization, fighting sword and shield style. |
