Re: The Witcher 2
Must not read spoilers...
I'm gonna get this game at some point, I never finished the first one, anyhoo I grabbed the extended version from GOG and I've been playing through the last week or so, in chapter 2 I think, in the swamp.
No idea why I wasn't more into it at the time. baffles me
Loving it, if the second is better it must be unreal.

Re: The Witcher 2
Yea, the second one is better. the first had some pacing issues... parts were just WAY too long and drawn out. The second is more evenly paced. Interested in hearing your choices.

Re: The Witcher 2
Yeah, since me and Satis differed pretty much on some parts it'd be interesting to hear a third voice. And I would say that overall, in terms of polish and ambition, The Witcher 2 is definitely better than the original. But the original was more of a PC game. Still, this is hardly a dumbed-for-console game. Heartily recommended. If it wasn't for Portal 2 , definitely my GOTY so far. And it's really close (and they're very different genres).

Re: The Witcher 2
Yeah, parts just seem to go on forever...in chapter 3 now, clearing out salamandra dens.
Still neutral, but I think I will choose the order, I have sympathy towards the non-humans but leaving woman and children alone in a crypt full of ghouls to die? I aint down wit that. No sir.

Re: The Witcher 2
Haha, yeah, things can get complicated morally speaking. Be sure to post what you ended up doing, I'm always interested.

Will do Btw, in the first chapter I chose to side with the witch, the villagers were a dodgy bunch for sure.
