Yeah, the release date is Q4 2008. So, early 2009 is a good target date.
The DNF hands-on was actually pretty cool. "Come on guys, seriously, what the f*ck took so long?" Heheh...that's only with Elder Scrolls titles at Bethesda. All the other stuff they're not too bothered with doing half-assed.

The main quest is about 25hours of gameplay, with sidequests its boosted to nearly 100hours, give or take some.
You can play the entire game as VATS or real time shooter. It has 3rd and 1st person views. The release date is still planned for Fall 2008.
