lol @ the underwater ammo.
The ghoul does look good. I don't think oblivion was a bad game, there were just some issues with balance. Hopefully the autolevelling bad guys thing gets dropped for fallout.

So i just watched the Blade Runner movie. Now i know where the design for the most powerful pistol in Fallout 1 came, its exactly like the one Harrison Ford uses in Blade Runner.

haha, that's pretty cool. That's a pretty nice pistol too... blows the hell out of some replicants.

holy crap that looks good. I hope I don't get my leg blown off and get crippled. Kinda looked like his head was damaged too.

Yeah, gotta love the PIPboy look...from the looks of it it's going to be a lot more "interactive" than in F 1 and 2. And the violence levels we've seen in the screenshots so far are in sync with Bethesda's comments on the game being "definitely mature". Will be interesting to see how and if they implement the other adult themes from the originals, like sex and drugs.
Iirc drugs won't be in the game anymore, at least not as such. That would be a pity cos I loved the atmosphere it created. Remember the Myron/Jet storyline in Fallout 2? If you had a character with high intelligence and science, you could indugle into a whole technical conversation about how he created Jet with the help of cow dung. Really cool.
Of course, Myron was pretty much also the most useless NPC you could have tag along of all.

Fallout 2 is like the best action rpg ever. Unfortunately it also set teh world record for bugs.

jeez, Belgians hiding behind Americans again.
I think that was during that period in the late 90s when I didn't have a PC worth talking about. And was in the military. My gaming record before and after that period speaks for itself, thank you very much!
And yea, I plan on getting this one. How could I miss it? Of course, everyone's going to complain how it's not like the "REAL" fallout. But whatever.

*throws javelin at Sat & J*
Ignorant, uncultured bastards.
No drugs, eh? No biggie. I never touched them anyway. The side effects always scared me off, although it was funny having opponents shoot some Jet as soon as I started fighting them.
Crippled head, lol.
I really hope they keep the goryness. I still recall the awesomeness of ripping off arms and blowing holes through torsos on critical hits. The sound effects were awesome too.
