I wonder what direction they'll go with this after DA2 stumbled so badly because of their 'streamlining' choices. I mean, critic reviews were around the 80-85% mark, user reviews around the 50% mark, and less than 3 weeks after release the game was for sale for 10 quid on Amazon and Play.
That has 'commercial flop' written all over it for a game with its budget and ambition.
Problem is: with DA2, they still got many of the DA1 players who were gambling on the game being like the original, AND many new players who may have enjoyed the more action-oriented or accessible appeal of the sequal. For DA3, I'm sure they'll have lost the first group - they won't make the same mistake if they disliked DA2, as many seemed to do.
Either way, maybe they return to the style of Origins, who knows. We can hope.
