Re: Guild Wars 2 Collector's Edition
I spotted that after posting, but you can't pre-purchase until april anyway. Fingers crossed I might get in before that! *Bribes Melandru*
Not exactly interested in the digital stuff but I do love the GW art. And I do have the Factions CE, though I don't think I bothered with the others... and the figure is pretty cool. Not that I have space for another figure.

Re: digital stuff. It may be good to recall that similar digital editions were on sale for around 600 dollars on ebay some time after launch of the original GW. So it may actually be a pretty decent investment, if you managed to hold on to the entire thing without opening it.

Re: Guild Wars 2 Collector's Edition
I got the CE for the original GW, I think. I certainly have an art book and stuff. I won't be getting this one, though. Not that excited about it. Besides, I suspect SW-TOR will be my primary game for many more months.

Re: Guild Wars 2 Collector's Edition
Good point Ox, I sold my second copy of Factions CE for a profit I think. I'm pretty hyped for this game to be honest, not playing anything else online at the moment and it's a free one so woohoo

Haha, yeah this may be the game that gets us all in one MMORPG again for a while. No monthly fees makes a world of difference for me, not having to feel "guilty" for not feeling like playing for a week or so, and not as much social pressure either since your friends don't have to pay for their subscriptions either!

Re: Guild Wars 2 Collector's Edition
I'm just saddened by the japanammo look. The first had it too, and it also made me sad. I'd like to see a game that's as fun as GW1, but without the huge swords and other accoutrements of japanammo.
