Singularity
So, I picked up Singularity during the steam sale. And y'know, it's actually pretty good. The story is really interesting, as are the time mechanics. And the monsters. And the writing is actually really good. And so's the voice acting. Though I'm surprised all these russian speak in English all the time. Anyway, so far it's a good game. I'll update my impressions as I keep playing it. And Now....some PICCIES! Some very sovietness 2011-07-11_00001.jpg I want one of these in my living room 2011-07-11_00002.jpg Soviet propaganda! 2011-07-11_00003.jpg2011-07-11_00004.jpg2011-07-11_00005.jpg2011-07-11_00006.jpg2011-07-11_00007.jpg

Re: Singularity
Propaganda? That's basically mainstream European news network stuff. Kidding...it actually looks cool. Looking forward to the end, since these types of games usually start off promising and get boring/insane/rushed towards the end.

Re: Singularity
I finished it today. It's actually a really good game. There're also three possible endings. I chose one. I won't ruin it. At any rate, I recommend it... it's a good deal of fun. Some more pics.

Re: Singularity
I'm not sure if I'm getting my games mixed up here, is this the one where you're fighting in the civil war then suddenly you're pulled in to another time by some dude jumping through a time bubble thing?

Re: Singularity
No, you're thinking a different game. I can't remember what that one's called. This one does involve time travel, but otherwise is entirely different.

Re: Singularity
Yeah Mole is thinking of Darkest of Days, which had a cool concept but that's just about it. Fragging Romans with a flamethrower or rocket launcher is awesome, too bad the game was such a technical wreck. http://store.steampowered.com/app/37700/
