Are you arguing against what Derf said or for? Cause I can't make it out.
I'm all for multiplatform games if they are optimised for pc. Proper use of its superior processing power, proper inventory system suited to a mouse, use of smaller text/icons (as you're close to the screen), proper mouse and keyboard controls, NO SAVEPOINT SYSTEMS, no needless animations for everything you do (want to see how much a hat costs in GTA IV? Takes 5 seconds) and we could go on for ages. Unfortunately, only 1% - if that - of multiplatform games actually does that.
So I'll have PC exclusives instead.

I think some games play better on a console. Mainly games that require analog sticks, like racing games. Or multiplayer-on-the-same-screen games like 2d fighters. Other than that, PC rocks.
Regarding Prototype, I think it was fine on PC. I didn't have any issues with the control scheme.

Oh could be, I was just naming one recent multiplatformer that looked like it was designed for a console. And yeah, sports games are also part of that group you mention.

I don't know if all sports games qualify. I've played at least one golfing game on the PC that was fine. I could also see other games built to work properly on PC, like football (american or otherwise). Racing is special because the PC lacks the ability to make tiny changes to steering without an extra peripheral. Not that it matters one way or the other, but I think only a small subset of games are really better on a console.
And many, many, many console games would be infinitely better if they'd been built on the PC instead.

I used to play MotoGP 08 with the keyboard and it was ok.

hehe... I've got my xbox and pc connected. In order to share your media files, you have to set up Windows media player on the PC to 'share' out your library. For some reason with XP, the PC saw the xbox, but the xbox didn't see the PC. typical Microsoft networking. Now that I have Windows 7 instead of XP, it may go smoother.
As for Last.fm, I have a pandora subscription, so I'd prefer to use that. I actually have that on my PC, so there's no point in using the xbox to stream what is probably inferior quality when my pc can do it. Plus my Pandora channels are highly refined.
