http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... eneral-RSS Interesting article, and in line with my experiences in online games. Americans often seem perfectly happy to hook in a mic and start talking about god knows what, whereas I hear a lot less Brits who do the same. What the article says about Americans 'chattering away and working together more' is some BS tho. Most of them aren't even talking about the game but about how they just got a haircut, or screaming in a kiddy voice about everyone being fags. So I wouldn't exactly equate teamwork with voice comms. Bought a voice set for L4D2 btw |

hah... any generalizations are bound to be wrong. Even that one I just made. I rarely talk... I prefer typing, actually. And people that blah blah blah annoy me. |

I've not played alot of MP games, and for those that I have played, it's been on public servers. Generally in my experience very few people use mics. It just so happens for me that the few people who make gaming sense when they speak are British guys. But that's probably down to the servers I frequent. I do think that the few times ive been pissed of by retarded yappers using mics, has been with americans. After all, they are globally renound for speaking their minds out loud, even if what they say is utter shit. (not evident in satis and shiny's case) |

haha, nice caveat there, buddy. Having traveled the world, I can say that every country has their fair share of morons and idiots. |
