No doubt they're gonna give it the whole 3D treatment to which I continually oppose in RTS's. I'm wondering if they're gonna give this a new spin or simply just release something a la MoH. |

No, it's an RTS made by Blizzard. I'm more fan of Warcraft, but making strategy games is something you can leave to Blizzard. I don't understand what's wrong with 3d, it allows for more flexibility in map design and we're far past the point where making a game 3d is only a game gimmick. There were plenty of poor 2d RTS games too you know. |

Civ's not real time strategy, it's turn based. Total War is off course half turn-based, you could see it as a mix of Civ and Command & Conquer (or Warcraft or any other RTS). |
