Re: From Dust I thought Ubi was loosening their position on the DRM, but I can't be sure. Or maybe it's that they removed it from most of their games after the first few months...which is when 80% of all sales are made for most games of course. I should check it out probably.

Re: From Dust If they've removed the DRM from the assassin's *blah* games, I might actually buy them. Can you verify this? I enjoyed the games, but I refuse to buy into that DRM.

Re: From Dust Apparently, according to this January article the "always online" DRM was patched out for Assassin's Creed 2 and Splinter Cell: Conviction, now only requiring an activation and an online check as you start the game. Also, R.U.S.E. uses Steamworks instead of DRM.
