Well i guess there are similarities, but then you can hardly say every LP song or every Nickelback song sounds exactly the same |

Indeed franny. To be fair, there are simularities between all bands own songs. Thats why some bands suck, and others are good. ONce they get the right kinda of song, they stick to it. Besides, the songs on LP first album, are 150% Different to the second album, and about 70-80% Different to the third album. Hmmmm.... Though that is comparing a third and first album song! However, the song Numb (the one in my left ear) doesn't sound like linkin park... it's not the right voice. I've got that album, and I've listened to it a thousand times, its not right. And some of the parts in the right ear sound to high. (Pushing me away) I'll put that down to the fact that there are two songs at the same time, and the sacrifice of sounds quality/size. Just seems a little suspicious, they could have slowed down Numb, and sped up Pushing Me away to make it match! Listening to it again, Numb is definatly slower. Now for Nickleback. WHAT! Stupid shockwave. *waits for download* |

yep yep yep, have to agree with mole, no way is numb not slowed down, and it didnt sound quite right, though could be coz it was a crap quality recording. I mean the amount of times i listened to those songs im sure i'd have picked up by now if they were that similar. they do sound cool together tho, but then thats just coz they're linkin park and linkin park rule As for nickleback, it works, but no way are they similar, simply because i can easily hear the two separate songs without even using headphones. Plus on the bit im on now it just clashed horribly *winces* Damn u posting that link, now i gotta listen to all the albums |

stupid shockwave making me close all the windows. Yeah the nickleback one is crap. It just doesn't match. It matches in two places (one is repeated) which is the very start of every chorus, and the other is that the sudden High parts in the song at the end (the guitar solo and the YEAH YEAH" parts) start at the same time. But other than that, everything else is different, they sing at different times in different notes, and the intro's end at the different times and all. Well... erh... sorry to crash the party train dudes... |

The only Tool song I know is Schizm, and it rocks. What else should I get from them? I can't remember the last deserved number one spot. Anyone? |
