WTF man. Seriously.
I already freaked out when I saw that you're semi-expected to give your location on a site like igoogle (work, home, etc) so that your friends will "know where you are". I don't fucking want my friends to fucking know where I am unless I am somewhere they are!
This is so wrong on so many levels. Like you said, it's not very anonymous when they know at all times where you are. Even the worst data analyst in the world would manage to figure out what it means when you spend one half of the majority of your time in one place and the other in another.
I wish some religious fanatic would decided that Apple is anti-Christian, Muslim, Rastafarian or whatever and start a firebombing campaign against them.
Reality is though, that we'd sooner see Osama with an Imac than that this will happen.
