Re: Chile boy 'kills brother' over PlayStation row
lmao. I think we can all agree that someone who'd grab a knife and stab his own brother in the chest over him turning on his console was an psycho crime waiting to happen regardless of games or consoles. But wait and see how the media will spin this into being caused by games.

Haha. When i read the title, i was thinking of the times me and ocram would almost snap and beat the crap out of one another when playing Tekken. But then i read the whole "went to grab a knife and stab chest" part and yeah... not quite the same. Fucked up kid.

Re: Chile boy 'kills brother' over PlayStation row
Hahaha yeah I beat the living shit out of my brothers a lot too when playing Fifa or NBA or whatever competitive games on the PC. It's natural. But stab them? Shiiiiit. Worst we did was maybe grab a belt or broom and hit each other with that. Or throw small but solid things (like classic matchbox cars) to each other's heads. Other than that it was just plain old-fashioned knuckledusting though! Good times.

Re: Chile boy 'kills brother' over PlayStation row
lol. you used objects? Jeez, thats like 1 step below using real weapons. We just used to punch and thump eachother. I remember with my older brother (we must have been about 8 years old or something) at a certain point we figured out that punching straight would hurt the other person alot more than overhand "clubs"... we soon stopped fighting after that discovery

I think me and my brother stopped fighting soon after he punched me in the jaw and i bit through my tongue. It was an accident because we weren't really fighting or in a quarrel, he tried to make "ghost" punch but it most definitely landed.

having had a younger sister, I never really did the whole fighting thing too much. Most of my fighting was constrained to putting the smack down on people that screwed with her.

Re: Chile boy 'kills brother' over PlayStation row
Jeez, you guys make my family sound disfunctional. I can't even count the times I punched my brothers in the face and stomach, and then there were the stitches and black eyes... One of the funniest was when my middle brother and I were on holiday and he was doing the voice from Barney of the simpsons, you know, kind of annoying. So he was saying "Hi Homer" over and over again in this really broken, high-pitched voice, and I started getting pissed. I told him to stop a few times, then that I'd punch him in the face if he didn't stop. Of course, he didn't stop (that would be a sign of weakness in the jungle that was our brotherhood). So I punched him in the face. He fell from his chair on the floor and was lying there squirming. After 10 seconds I told him to "get up lamer, it can't hurt that much" and he went "my retainer..." He had one of them night retainers at the time and, apparently, I'd knocked the steelwire into his jaw. Then there's the time I pulled him off the top bunk bed and he was taken to the hospital for minor concussion, the time my youngest brother had to get his ass stitched up after we more or less pushed him out of a tree...oh and the time they managed to tie me to a tree and took turns beating the crap out of me, knowing I couldn't kick their asses then and there. Don't worry, I kicked them afterwards.

Re: Chile boy 'kills brother' over PlayStation row
Hahaha, it wasn't that bad really. It was mostly what happenes when you're in a family of only brothers and the age difference is relatively minor. (1.5 between my middle brother and me, 1.5 between middle brother and youngest) As for that tying up, that was some sort of payback for years of physical domination. At 13-16, a 1.5 years age difference can mean a serious difference in physical strength.

Though I did have a couple of fights with my older brother as a kid, Ox' case does sound a bit extreme.

Re: Chile boy 'kills brother' over PlayStation row
My brother and I would beat the crap out of each other. Hell most of the time it would start because we wanted to annoy our parents, but me being 3.5 year younger than him and a girl gave me some disadvantage. Probably why I don't back down easily against Satis. Which always ends up with me hurt and crying.
