lol. I still shower when I have social contact.
But what's the point really when you stay inside for 2-3 days in a row and maybe pop in and out a neighbourhood store for 20 minutes at most? In the summer I wouldn't do it, since I sweat like a pig and there's stuff to do outside, but in the winter it's ok. 
I hear what you guys are saying on the canned food. I have a shitload of canned food and unperishables, but nothing specifically preparing me for the zombie apocalypse. I should work on that. Maybe get an autoshotty too, and move as far away from Derf as possible. Wouldn't want to end up in a saferoom with him!
No crazy obsessions like cars either. Don't smoke, don't own a car (no taxes or gas money), rarely turn on the heating or more than one light at a time in my apartment, don't call often (rarely even), don't buy expensive clothes, furniture or food and don't have a girl. About the only things I spend money on are books, movies and games, and the occasional beer at a bar or restaurant visit. Quite...frugal, you could say.
