Man cures self of HIV
pretty whacky.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/4432564.stm
Dude was HIV positive in 2002, and negative in 2003. There appears to be no doubt as to the accuracy of either test, so it would appear his body defeated HIV. Crazy stuff.
Then again, who knows. Maybe it was a testing problem.

There are prostitutes in Africa that are immune to HIV too. And appearently Western Europeans and their descendants (like white Americans and Australians) have a small resistance to HIV, probably because of the plague raging through Western Europe in the Middle Ages. Someone curing himself from HIV is new, however.

Yeah heard this too.
Its not yet confirmed totally that all tests are accurate. But when (if) they do, this guy will turn into a human guinea-pig.

agreed. But if it is real, then the cure to HIV may be right around the corner. Well, 'right around the corner' isn't all that immediate. :p Slow ass FDA approval. hehe

Firstly, i am speaking in comparative sense. Take the two scenarios:
A = When every human being dies, their organs must be removed to help save millions of lives.
B = 1 person may have the answer to the AIDS cure, we must get it from him to save millions of lives.
Now which one is feasable?
With regards to the rest of your post, i think youre getting too caught up in the politics of it. Where is your humanity? Were talking about saving MILLIONS of peoples lives in sacrifice of one persons freedom. Can you not see the pure maths behind this?
