about using electric pulses to influence people's movements. You could use this for everything, but one of the best things might be in games, to give you the sensation of really jumping away in a gunfight.

Aside from the possible health risks this could entail, perhaps it is the first step toward 'holo-room' like technology, rather than video games as such.

True, from using electric currents to make you do something to using electric currents to trick you so you think you do something, while remaining still, might not be a very big step. But knowledge about the human brain is still very spotty.
