lol, I had even already forgotten what happened to him in the movie. Let alone the book.
And Mordor could be Mexico, I suppose. There's a volcano, there are a lot of ugly folk, and they don't do much else but drinking and killing. And the Mordor atmosphere kinda looks like the inside of a Tequila bar.

In the book he gets shot by a Hobbit's arrow just after he kills Saruman with a knife.

Ah right that's the whole 'battle of (insert hobbit town name)' story line that isn't in the movie.

lol...three cheers for spoilers!! Poor Satsi.
And I might consider a new career if Wormtongue gets it. Saruman survives, right? Or is het pwned by his tower? God I'm getting old.
(maybe put a spoiler warning for Satis when answering that )

Evil always survives. But I thiknk the most evil "person" that survives would be Bilbo.

In LOTR, no evil people survive. In the rest of Tolkien's mythology, the ultimate badass Morgoth isn't killed, just kicked out of the world until Armageddon. If you think The Lord of the Rings is strange, read The Silmarillion. A very interesting book IMO.

Reed.
Actually, I plan on reading it once I'm done with the rings trilogy. About half done. And it's got a long way to go before it hits Valis odd.
