But, if i try exactly the same thing under windows 98, i don't get that crap in any way and it smoothly connects. (problem is that the sound in win 98 isn't fixedyet, i'll screw open my case tomorrow to get the motherboard's developper in order to find drivers)
So; why doesn't win2k "allow" me to connect to a counterstrike server if it's no sweat under 98? Does it have something to do with its implemented network-things?
Btw, i should also mention that i can CREATE a mp counterstrike game without any probs under win2k, it's just the join-connecting that screws up. And no, i don't got firewalls or even a virus scanner.
