As time pass I decided to put it here anyway, unchanged.
Do you know how many times I catch myself very near crying (alright,
you know that "near" is sometimes invsible) during play BG2:ToB? That
is because I taken BG persolany from its start: BG.
My english lack during first playings forced me to develop some kind of
imagination. To make illusions about BG. In that (non absolutely
understanding what they chars speak about) form, BG IS some kind of
person test. When I resumed all what I've done, I got many new details
about myself own.
How personal I taken BG, enough speak that I detailed many things during
playing such a droping Gorion's Dagger on the ground of Sarevok's Estate
before final battle, or dropping Kivan's first spear before letting
him to fight Tazok 1-1, keeping Imoen's first arrows for ever... Bah!
Many goldie details.
Unfortunately, BG2 as well as more En knowledge comes into my hands
and I started to see new, REAL details, which pushed former IMAGINE details
back. That is, maybe, why I don't like BG2 as much as BG.
Then comes period of rest. And then, finally BG2:ToB. I taken it
much personaly, because it comes, in any word and detail, as one
"farewell" from beloved BG and all what I like there. When I played
it (ToB), I knew playing BG will never be same.
But, I'm not dissapointed absolutely. On some places in BG2 I still see
pieces of my former picture of BG. Well, that is Watcher's Keep. When I
was first time there, I was impressed with some sparks who redrawed
old BG-imaginations for the moments. Truth saying, I felt something old
(maybe subjective) yet, when I was stand in Watcher's Keep garden. And that
music... nothing wake old BG-feel like that. Freely said, I started to
like BG2 just because of Watcher's Keep aaand - Cespenar. Allways liked
that little imp.
So, that is bassicaly some draft of my BG-sotry. If someone want to discuss
further, he should feel free to throw post or PM.Statistics: Posted by RB — Fri Jan 16, 2004 10:58 am
