Looks quite nice; though I think I've grown out of what I refer to as "meat slugger" games. I dislike the idea of unloading an entire clip in to one enemy and not have it drop - when as a kid I thought that was fantastic, now-a-days I prefer to one shot some punk in the head and be done with it!

Still, if they release a demo I'll play that before I cast judgement!

The dev team is a mix of CD Projekt Red (Witcher), People Can Fly (Painkiller) and other good dev teams. Should be interesting.

Ars Technica had an article on this upcoming game (due September). Apparently it's a PC-focused game, high on the graphics, single player, in the style of Doom and away from the on-rails shooter of late. Lots of praise from someone who apparently grew up playing the kinds of shooters I did. :p At any rate, worth keeping an eye on.
