Anyway, please keep in mind how large the US is... 300 million people. School shootings aren't exactly a common occurrence. But yes, schools are certainly not safe places. Police officers at schools is not uncommon... they'll usually keep a cop or two on site just in case.
What sucks is any state-funded school (and any state high school or whatever) is technically federal property and you can't bring a gun on campus even with a concealed carry permit. So even if I got a concealed carry license I wouldn't be allowed to have a gun to defend myself with.

While a stricter law on the possession of weapons is by no means a guarantee to stop these things from happening, it will definitely lessen the frequency and the scope by which they occur. I mean, the sucka bought the gun at a local shop and he doesn't even have an American passport.
Like buying candy or a beer.Anyway, he's a fucking huge loser and I hope Satan uses him as his personal asswhore for many centuries to come. Ruining so many lives over your own personal boo-hoo romance, makes me want to puke.
