But to answer what I think your question was, I use it to clean my entire house. It just kinda bounces around the house, cleaning as it goes. The battery probably lasts about 30-45 minutes, so it bounces around for that long, which means it covers most (if not all) of the house. Assuming it doesn't choke on a power cord or get stuck under something.
Personally, I HATE vacuuming, and Roomba actually does a better job cleaning than my vacuum anyway. So, I get a clean house with no freakin' hassle.
