Elder scrolls online finally announced. Yay for the chance to have it turned into a huge world (Hopefully all of Tamriel?) but boo at the dickwads who usually play MMOs being in my game :(

In all honesty, i think it was inevitable. Hell, oblivion was MMO already without the MMO part, as in big, bland and unbelievably repetitive and boring.

Oblivion wasn't that bad really. :P Just not as interesting a setting as other Elder Scrolls games (or had the greater rpg freedom of games like Daggerfall and Morrowind).

And TES online honestly leaves me pretty cold. I doubt it's gonna become the next big thing...I'm sure there's a market for TES gamers who'd like to play an MMORPG set in Tamriel, but by and large it's a very singleplayer series so I don't see it blowing up.

OMG, so much jade. I hope it's freaking amazing... but I hope they don't ditch the TES mechanics for stuff that's more like an MMO...eg skill bar and cool downs and crap. Bring TES the way it is.

BTW, Skyrim I think is freaking amazing. Perhaps not quite up to par with Morrowind, but still. And an MMO!? OMG, access to the entire TES universe would be insanely awesome.

Oh don't get me wrong, Elder Scrolls would be the ultimate MMO for me. I have no misgivings about the game itself. I just hate MMO communities (weird considering I'm an MMO addict ;))

Well they should definitely look to Tera for combat mechanics.
