Dungeon Defenders.
I've been playing it a lot and its good. Imagine Defence Grid and League of Legends (or Rise of Immortals/Dota/whatever) having a child .
The game is essentially defeating a wave of AI bots, there are PvP modes but it is irrelevant. One can build their character to be either a Diablo-like living Deity or a Defence Grid -like overlord who builds defences. There are 4 classes to begind with and 4 classes are purchasable. Depending on their build, they fill specific roles during matches. Each class possesses skills very necessary for higher difficulties. Should you start a character, avoid the monk as your first since it is complicated and very easy to mess it up. However the monk has very awesome skills for team play.
I am starting to reach a point where I can no longer solo stuff and competent people are hard to come by. And Insane difficulty runs only take people they know can pull their weight because the runs are fairly long and failure isn't an option. So start playing, level up your toon and help me out .

yeah haha...I may dip my toe in the waters to help you out Peltz, but the graphics make me think I may be on the floor with a seizure before the end of the game.

Its not that bad actually. This is a survival wave, the main body of enemies come from that direction hence the massive number of towers there. During a normal campaign map the tower set up is quite different.
