One possible 'explanation' is that women, because of their hip structure, tend to have strong upper legs and are much more likely to be knock-kneed than men. So holding something between their knees/upper legs wouldn't necessarily show very much when they're walking...but still, that pack of drinks looks mighty heavy.

I'm thinking she had some sort of sling set up that she stuck it into. Either that or she does lots of kegels.
