Post Derf's Friday Sandwich Seal-Of-Approval
Derf's Friday work canteen Morale Booster sandwich: £1.90

Bread: White, sliced, very lightly toasted. No butter or spread!
Filling 1: Bacon, 2 rashes.
Filling 2: Hashbrowns, 2 bits.
Filling 3: Fried egg, unpopped.

You get smoked, meaty, savouriness from the bacon... crunchiness and volume from the hashbrowns, and creaminess from the egg. No spread is needed at all since it would hide away the magic combo formula of the 3 pillars of goodness.

I've had this for 3 Fridays in a row now and it is unbeatable.

Thanks for that vid Peltz, I was like...what the hell are hashbrowns? Is Derf eating space sandwiches at his job? :P

Your sandwich reminds me of one I always eat when I'm in Malta, at a local bar: a piece of grilled round bread (Turkish, Maltese, whatever - looks like this), filled with scrambled egges, bacon and lightly fried mushrooms. Serve hot, and use HP sauce, ketchup, mayo or even BBQ. Whatever you like best. So fucking good.

Hey Derfmeister did you come up with that sandwich yourself or is it sold somewhere over there? Back at my old job, we actually had a tool on every work PC that allowed you to make your own sandwiches haha. You could pic the bread, different cheese/meat/vegetable toppings, sauces, warm or cold...it was glorious. Like doing a sandwich experiment every day. So yeah, that's where the government money goes.

A sandwich-app? Wtf? And you guys don't know what hashbrowns are!? My god, are you living in the middle ages!

BTW, in Texas, we even have our own bread... Texas toast

The only different is that it's thicker and usually heavy in butter

Lol. The moment you said 'Texas sandwiches' I immediately thought they were gonna be bigger than our tiny euro ones. And possibly unhealthier too. And tadaa!

They sure sound good tho...

btw, texas toast is just the bread. I chose that particular picture because it looked delicious. As far as I know, we have no official state sandwich or anything. Though yea, things in Texas tend to get enormous.
