Don't know if you guys saw this... pretty jacked up. Basically a toddler wandered into the street (where were the parents?) and was hit by a van. then across about 7 minutes, 18 people passed by with nobody stopping. All of this was caught on a security camera. Last I heard, the kid was alive but in a coma. Man, people talk about Americans being heartless, but I don't see anything even remotely like that happening here... well... maybe in New York City.

I did the same when I saw a cat got squished and was squirming. Not much I could have done to be honest except stamp on it its head to put it out of its mysery. Besides, it's just a cat. I just walked on.

They ignored the kid as if they see that kind of stuff every day.

yea, well, this is apparently causing a massive crapstorm in China. No surprise, really... it's sickening. From what I've read, it sounds like the kid is either doing worse, or is brain dead at this point. I guess being brain dead would qualify as "doing worse". At any rate, doesn't look like there's going to be a happy ending. Except maybe some van drivers getting put in a Chinese gulag so they can have their organs harvested.
