Not a lot to comment because I have to start working in 2 minutes  but that's just nasty. I know that some people drink urine to cure epilepsy! How do you spell epilepsy? *shrugs* I'll care about that later.

Epilepsy cannot be cured by drinking urine, although it is used orally in medicine as a cleaning agent in some cases.

Pissing on a piece of cloth to protect you from gasses isn't such a bad idea. A wet cloth protects better, and if you've got no water around, pissing is one of the few options you have.

Hah, this discussion reminds me of this kid who was in my class in secondary school. I must have been 13 or something. He told me and a couple of friends about his grandfather who (apparently) had to drunk horse urine for a while to survive during the war. I assume it was cooked, but we didn't really ask. Obviously, we would make fun of him as the grandson of a horse pee drinker from there on. I think he switched schools a year later after becoming a social outcast.
