Im quite sure Bethesda delivers what they promise but the question remains, in what form.

You mean, isometric or 1st person 3d?
My only hope is that they can capture the grittiness and the eery atmosphere.

I wont be expecting anything of quality from Bethesda.

Actually unless its more Elder Scrolls, I wouldn't either. Pirates of the Carribean and Star Trek game that recently came out were both huge flops. Pirates, well fair enough its a movie game and they're destined to be on the Deal of the Week from day one, it happens with them all, but the Star Trek game had no excuse.
Beth just can't deliver right now.... maybe coz they're working on the Obliv expansion rofl

The star trek game really sucked, btw.

But then again, every star trek game ever made has sucked, so its nothing new really.

not this bad. Some of the starfleet command games were ok...at least it was fun flying around blowing up crap. This one just sucks really bad,

I'm not a trekkie dork like Satis (hehehe) but I've played a few of the older ones and they don't all suck no..in fact, one of them was actually pretty good. I forgot the name but it was a shooter/adventure type of game.
But I hope Bethesda's crap releases aren't an indication of the quality of Fallout 3.

yea, you know it, I'm a total trekkie. I walk around with Spock ears and a red starfleet uniform. Anyway, I think Bethesda is taking a serious nose dive with game quality.

But they really have to outdo themselves to become as bad as SOE or EA.

I found out what the deal is with the star trek game: it was produced by bethesda, but not developed by them (by Mad Doc Software). So that explains the quality thing.
Things get confusing when a firm is both a producer and a developer.
