Post Bond, James Bond (OMG they wrecked Aston Martin, bastards)
So any of you seen the new Bond movie yet?

Luckily my cousin works in Radio so i got a free ticket to premiere. I must say i am absolutly blown away.
If you havent seen it, do it. Im 101% sure you will like it.

At the beginning i thought wtf is this a rambo movie but in the end, i think, Daniel Craig is more Bond than any other actor after Sean Connery. Lol he even has big ears like Sean Connery :D. I dont know, im still in awe of the movie. I will go to bed now and wait for sleep until i loose counsiousness.

Peace!

Ive been meaning to see this film. Seen the trailers and I liked those in the way they made bond seem a bit less mr nice guy.

And about the Aston Martin, luckily i saw local tv show "Cinemania" which introduces new films and i saw that it took alot of tries to get that Aston Martin crash. When it went off the road i felt like someone stabbed me in the heart.

One day, when im rich, Ill be getting one of those Aston Martins :D.

I've heard that the 'Martini, shaken not stirred' is replaced by a Heineken ... that scares me. And is just soo wrong.

I was distracted by derf's siggy..... that's why it's taken so long to post here. Plus I had my computer being an arse again.

I meant to see it last night but it was booked up. Instead I saw The Prestige instead. Alright film, worth watching.

I saw bond on Sat night.

Yeah, ill give this the prestigious "Derfs seal of approoval".

I like it, a 7/10 material film (which from me means a most able film).

The portrayal of bond is the most impressive feature of the film, rather than the story itself. It is very refreshing and It gives me immense respect for Bond.

The story is typical of 7/10 films, patchy. The major fault is the focus on the love theme, which is cheap. I like the added responsibility of the bond girl, although I do question the choice (for looks). I mean, cmon, that tanned girl riding on the horse was sooooo fine, i was like, "oh boy, if shes the bond girl, bond himself is an utter bastard!" :D

I didnt like the iPod commercial style intro, or music. Also, some action sequences were rather predictable, for example, the beginning where Bond killed the agent, I KNEW that his gun was empty.

I still enjoy what theyve done to the Bond persona. Top job!

Did you mean Eva Green when you were talking about the bond girl? Cos I think she's a total stunner - and I don't usually go for skinny women. :)

I like the new actor...he actually promotes all the slavic-looking types like me. :P Of course, he's a little bit more muscular and shit but (like most actors) very likely to be a midget. So yay!

Just checked: he's 5'11" to 6". So slightly shorter than me. Regardless, I'm way hotter.

Craig wants gay Bond scene

03/12/2006 - 15:40:31

Daniel Craig is urging movie bosses to revolutionise the James Bond franchise by including a gay scene involving the superspy in the follow-up to Casino Royale.

The heart-throb actor has also reportedly told studio chiefs he is prepared to film a full frontal nude scene to please both his male and female admirers.

He says: "Why not? I think in this day and age, fans would have accepted it.

"I mean, look at Doctor Who - that has had gay scenes in it and no one blinks an eye."

I think it would seem somewhat forced. The biggest womaniser of cinema suddenly having gay sex. I think homosexual relationships are somewhat under-represented in movies (unless it's the theme of a movie), but I don't think the James Bond character is a suitable starting point to rebalance that.
