They figure the 37 people that live in Belgium don't warrant a film release. They should all hop in their car and drive the 10 minutes to Paris to see the movie.

And no, I'm not going to Austin to see it. In fact, I'm not seeing it tomorrow on the Dallas official release date either. Not until it's generally available so I don't have to fight crowds. I hate crowds.

I hear that. I usually avoid premieres too...unless I got a free ticket.

I'd think the fact that one of the 37 Belgian is extremely sexy would warrant a release here -guess not. Not a bad idea to go see it in France or Holland tho. I'd go to london but because of the damn Channel it costs tons of money. It's either the Eurostar or the ferry, both rip you off. Fuckers.

@ Pev...do they even have movie theatres in Scarb? ;)

Satis, you mean plane rides to England? I dunno. I looked it up once and it wasn't much cheaper then a train or ferry iirc.

Just checked: with the cheapest air service it's already around 200€ to go to london and back. That's excluded the cost to get from city to airport etc. (Ryanair airports are almost always outside the city centre :()

So, fucked up. I can get to the capital of Holland for less than 20€. Yet I need to pay hundreds of euros to get to London which is about just as far. Makes sense.

lol we barely do, some crappy converted theatre (many exist around the country, lovingly known as 'fleapits' ;)) and a not-so-bad one, but none of the big chains, gotta go to Hull or York for those :(

what a ripoff. I guess noone wants you to go to England.

Of course, who wants to go to England anyway? I mean, if you're Brazilian, you run the risk of being chased down and shot in the head/chest numerous times for no reason.

the movie was surprisingly accurate to the book but it does all make sense in an acid trip kind of way which is the writting style of Phillip K. Dick.

good stuff though I start to hate cookie cutter writting although I admit cookie cutter writting sticks to your brain sometimes a bit better plot and character wise. Think it has to do with the familiar properties make it easy to remember.

hehe...it's a good flick. A coworker of mine actually bought me the movie...as Shiny mentioned, it's very true to the book. I applaud all the big name actors who sacrified a portion of their lives to something that would never score big on the big screen.
