Is It Raining Aliens?
http://www.popsci.com/popsci/science/2c ... drcrd.html
DNAless bacteria than reproduces....strange.
| | | | Quote: As bizarre as it may seem, the sample jars brimming with cloudy, reddish rainwater in Godfrey Louis’s laboratory in southern India may hold, well, aliens.
...
Specifically, Louis has isolated strange, thick-walled, red-tinted cell-like structures about 10 microns in size. Stranger still, dozens of his experiments suggest that the particles may lack DNA yet still reproduce plentifully, even in water superheated to nearly 600˚F. (The known upper limit for life in water is about 250˚F.) So how to explain them? Louis speculates that the particles could be extraterrestrial bacteria adapted to the harsh conditions of space and that the microbes hitched a ride on a comet or meteorite that later broke apart in the upper atmosphere and mixed with rain clouds above India. If his theory proves correct, the cells would be the first confirmed evidence of alien life and, as such, could yield tantalizing new clues to the origins of life on Earth.

fyi, this crap happened in 2001 and people are still screaming "alien rain!"....but there's no serious scientific proof.
First, another report that says there IS DNA
http://www.astrobiology.cf.ac.uk/redrain.html
It's also amazing how these hardcore Indian "scientists" just won't allow any other scientific institution to review their findings.
Also, apparently five tons of crap fell.
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006010710,00.html
or is it 50 tons?
Popular Science
Anyway, my point being, there's so much contradictory proof that I doubt anything really happened. The red rain was probably dust from China. I used to live in Korea...ever year, during a certain time of year, the rain was red. Why? Dust from China would get picked up by the rain clouds and dropped on Korea. Big deal. The next day your car was covered in red dirt.

It would be kinda cool to have pieces of aliens crash all over the place though. So much for invading our planet biatches, your blood rained all over our third world. Woo, we're so scared.

I think he got drunk and past out in jubilation for 666 day. The great alien sent to destroy earth but was succumbed to the great materialist and personal destructive forces of our world.
