  Nasa working on asteriod-pwning plansArticle is too long to quote but the idea is that there's a 1 in 6250 chance that a large asteroid will hit earth on 13th of april, 2036. So Nasa (and UN etc) are looking into means to make sure they can prevent this from happening.
