Post freedom!
For anyone paying attention, AT&T is currently in court being sued by the EFF (electronic frontier foundation) regarding their spying for the NSA. Allegedly they built cabinets in major cities that forwarded all internet traffic to the NSA for spying purposes.

The documents that started everything were released by a former AT&T employee who blew the whistle on everything. As of now, the documents are sealed and the federal government is trying to get the case dismissed based on national security (*cough*bullshit*cough*).

So, anyway, Wired news seems to think they're a bunch of cocksmokers and managed to get ahold of the whistleblower documents. I'm attaching them to the post for anyone interested.

Too many acronyms for 2330 hrs and the pdf is too long.

Who are AT&T, NSA, EFF? What do they do?

AT&T is a telephone company
EFF I defined above as Electronic Frontier Foundation
NSA is National Security Agency

AT&T == big corporation (really big)
NSA == US government spies that are spying on everyone, including American citizens
EFF == a group that tries to protect people's online rights

AT&T & NSA intercepted all internet communications for spying
EFF sues AT&T
NSA tries to get suit dismissed and locks the evidence up as "sensitive to national security"
Wired gets a copy of the evidence and releases it to the world

Excellent summary. Sounds like AT&T deserves to be burned to the ground, so too the NSA.

Pff, soul. That's just a remnant from dualist thinking anyway! I prefer to simply 'be'. Opportunistic. :P ;)

Yes, or ideologically flexible.

It's the only kind of ideology that secures a long-lasting rulership. :P Being merely 'left" or 'right' puts restrictions on you in terms of thinking.

Of course, in games I only tend to be economically flexible. I'll kill anything I can, but if I can make some money in the process I might change the order in which I do the killing.
