He probably was drunk and intended to post, which to the post-drunk mind is the same as 'did post'. You wouldn't believe the vivid dreams I had when going to bed drunk. And because everything already was a haze before you started dreaming it seems like either everything was real or everything was a haze.
I think beer also explains why we don't see Myrdinn as often as we used to on the board...and they call me an alcoholic, pssh!

Nice. We do the same thing here. Or rather we used to...been getting a bit too old for that lately.
It used to be that the entire family (my mum's family, ie 2 parents, 7 children and their man/wife and all their kids. And their kids. Total of about 40-50 ppl) would go up to my grandparents' house in the Ardennes, a hilly forest region in the south of belgian. Where the battle of the bulge was fought if you know your war history (where te Germans made their last real stand outside their borders and brought heavy casualties to the -mainly American- troops. The area is littered with tanks, bunkers and soldier graves.)
Anyway, they have this huge garden, and the night before the adults and children old enough would paint a LOT of hard-boiled eggs with all sorts of easter stuff. Then we drank beer. Erh...but to continue:
on Easter itself, someone went to the playground nearby with all the little kids, and when they were out we hid the chocolate and painted boiled eggs all over the garden. Kids come back, we tell them the easter bells (not a bunny here) passed by and dropped stuff all over the garden!
Cue lots of happy kids frantically searching. Kinda cool to think back of. By now all the grandkids have become too old to still believe in it, and the grand-grandkids is that a word?) are too young. Sucks.

How about a lecture on how to go about excavating in archaeology at 9:30 in the morning (my usual waking up time) after having to wake up at 8?
