My mom is gay. Many of my friends are gay. You know what they all have in common besides being gay? They aren't bigots. They would never judge someone for part of their physical make up. It's worthless small minded cretins like you that have responsible for racial and religious discrimination. Our societies have finally made that taboo, buy hey, you still got gays, so go ahead and pick on them. Maybe discriminating against black people will come back into fashion and you will have some variety in the people that you ridicule and judge.
Bravo, you make me sick. It shames me that you and I are part of the same nation. You are a waste of flesh. The best thing you could do for the world is die a horrible painful death.

Wow, I didnt say anything bad. I just quoted a news story and said I dont want to live in San Fran. humm, I wonder why San Fransico has had a loss of population? Most normal cities in the US grow every year. Im not going to speculate the reason why I think the cities population is getting smaller but Im sure using your divine judgement, you can figure it out. And your mom is gay? Well, how where you born then? Think of this, if you mom would have been gay before you where conceived, you wont be able to tell me Im a piss of shit right now. Im sorry if the story offend you but I didnt find it or my comments offensive. If some who was gay where to come online and post a story about Houston, tx being the largest hetero city I dont think I would care. I think you are overreacting. But I still think your an ok guy. SPEAKING OF G** "Regular" PEOPLE Look at this story. This principle at a elementary school at the school district that I graduated from got caught in the park with some other gay... mean "regular people" doing gay...I mean "regular people" stuff that "Regular people" do at the park at 2pm on Thursday. My mom was this guy secretary. http://www.theexaminer.com/npps/story.cfm?ID=116
So now maybe you see why I dont wanna live in San Fransico.

Erh...there are quite a few options really. There's artificial (or even regular) insemination, Pig could have been adopted or she had him before she 'realized' she was gay. Doesn't matter in any case, but I just wanna point out that there's no such thing as 'turning gay' overnight. In fact, most of the gay people I know have had long-term heterosexual relationships. There are a lot of factors -social, cultural or even practical- involved, it's not black and white. And the fact that his mom is gay doesn't have anything to do with her being able to have a baby or not.
It's kinda funny that you used the term 'divine judgement' in this discussion btw...and to be honest, the fact that you bring up the article about your former school principal says more about your stance on the matter than anything else in this thread. What you're saying is: "look, he's gay, and he's screwing dudes in the park, cos that's what gay ppl do, they're freaks!".
You won't hear me deny that such things (sexual encounters in parks and whatnot) are more common (which is not: common) within the gay community, but there's a reason why they meet up in secret and have anonymous sex, you know. Do you think they like messing around shady parks? It's because they have little choice. Shit, I don't even know why they arrested that principal dude...I didn't know it was a crime to propose having sex. Either way, I'm pretty sure his public career is either fucked up or getting a serious blow now.
Bleh. Bottom line is: things are a lot more complicated than the picture you're painting.

Not certain Ox but I think he was arrested because Sodomy is seen as illegal in a lot of places still (not sure if it is over here or not), and public sex certainly is if you're caught (hey, if you can get arrested for flashing I don't think a full-on display is gonna be looked upon kindly ), though it didn't get that far in the article. And of course sodomy and being gay is frowned upon in the Christian teachings (and yet you have to love thy neighbour? yet another inconsistancy ) so if its a particularly religious state, their laws will partly be based on that. But not knowing much about American laws thats all speculation on my behalf

Can i just say that:
There is a great deal of homophobia in todays western society, probably thanks to our social ignorance provoked by prolonged industrial and consumerist culture.
As members of the public, our individual values are not of considerably sufficient value, to be able to stand up as single solutions in the real world. So although your stance on the matter seems quite valuable (even to me) it remains merely an opinion of a member of the public. Now, collectively, in the democratic world we agree on two values: a) freedom of speech, b) diplomacy over violence. You are attempting to ensure equality, but by removing "worthless small minded cretins" with regards to their spoken opinion. You are breaking both a & b of the democratic values.
Therefore, you have pretty much contradicted yourself here. Your violent comments are trademark of extremism, and its extremism that ruins the world, not "worthless small minded cretins".

Bravo, you are so full of shit. You post a story about gays in San Francisco, and then say you don't want to live there. No one but a simpleton would believe you meant anything other than the obvious interpretation.
As for my mom, I am alive because of fuckers like you that make it OK to hate homosexuals. I am alive because our society made her afraid to accept who she is. It's because of bigotted assholes like you that even more extreme bigots have the courage to torture and kill others because of their physical nature.
Derf, I welcome freedom of expression and choice, within the limits of people I want as part of my society. But guess what, I don't want bigots in my society. I don't want Nazis or their watered down cousins like Bravo. There is a rediculous notion that the freedom a nation upholds should apply to everyone. The truth is that our nation wants these freedoms to apply to its citizens, not everyone. We draw lines about what we allow and what we don't. We make limits about who we want in our nation, and those that make it in are the ones we protect. I don't want bigots in my society. What they offer is far outweighed by the massive cost of their intolerance.

I have nothing against gays, many of my friends are gays and not only that, but they can even openly speak with me about their emotional problems... (as they do). They are people which still suffer alot of discrimination together with the BDSM folk. I do not deny existance of freaks who makes really distasteful exibitions but why some great group of people should be sanctioned because of an small part of it.
Thanks for the question, I'm straight.
Well now that for San Francisco is a bit WOW. Gays ARE natural thing even in the other races of beings but they are NOT meant to be majority of some society which represents well with the natality in that city.
Imo, you did overreact, Pig. You may have seen enough of the sick morons who have nothing else to do but to bother the others because of their own desires but this here was not a way to express it.

Well, I could care less what someone's sexual preference is. Figured that out a long time ago when I realized a friend of mine was gay... knowing vs. not knowing really didn't change who he was, so I guess it's ok. Since then I've met alot of really cool gay guys (and a few chicks, too), so I quit caring altogether. Being an atheist, there is no right and wrong to me, so that whole argument doesn't apply. So, at any rate, I think everyone here should have a beer.

Derf is right and I agree. You claim I'm being closed minded and not accepting other people sexual preferance(IE: hating them) and then you turn around and bash me and call me names because of it (IE:hating me) which in turn, turns you into what you think I am. Make sense? #2 I dont hate anyone regardless of what you might think. Sure, I think being homosexual is wrong but I dont hate people for it. I respect their choice to do what they want. When I was in the Army the guy that cut my hair was gay. Nice guy. Cut my hair really good. I was a repeat customer. If I hated gay's I probably wouldnt have used him as a barber now would I? #3
Doesnt this contradict itself?

My SF comment. Yea, I dont wont to live in the gayest city in the world with decreasing population. Whats wrong with that? Is it any different than not wanting to live in the city with the highest crime? Most poor? Most wealthly? Most mormons? Most jews? Most christians? No
I mean if you heard Beaumont Texas was the most homosexually hating cities in the US would you want to move there? Probably not.

Seems like Pig may have jumped the gun somewhat on this one.
