ah, I used machine guns primarily, with shotguns as a good second. I also tossed alot of grenades. :p I mainly went for the larger machine gun, as well. The HK or G3 or whatever the hell it was. Still, shotgun was nice. Once I got in the later levels, it was all about the recoilless rifle thing, the lightning gun and then whatever. Good stuff.
Plus proximity mines pwned the dudes in the armor.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking straight anyway, tottaly forgetting about the one hit wonder that is a shotty.
I love getting right up close to them in slowmo, so close I can smell the urine trickling down their legs while they piss themselves, then shotting them to the head and watching them do slow mo flips.
My favourite thing about the slowmo, is when you hit it at just the right moment, and you see them chuck the grenade towards you.

Heh...didn't your momma teach you to sit out credits after a great game?
Anyway, SPOILER

After the credits run out, you hear a short phone conversation between Genevieve Aristide and someone she calls "senator" -which, I presume, is a senator.
It goes something like this:
Aristide: Senator, I'm calling to inform you that everything has been taken care of.
Senator: But so much for discretion.
Aristide: yes, but it was...unavoidable. However, there is also good news: the first protoype was a complete succes.
-END
So....the whole situation was an immense test of your abilities...and you passed. Remember how it was Aristide who opened the vault and therefore caused Fettle and Alma to go berserk? She was working for this 'senator' (and Norton Maples probably was too) and had an alternative agenda than Harlan Wade and the others: she wanted the whole thing to go wrong, knowing you'd get sent in as a FEAR operative. You were put up against the clone army, Fettle, Alma and the ATC forces and destroyed them all. And then survived the huge blast at the end. Also notice how Aristide never appears to be around the scene herself: she, as opposed to Maples, Wade and his daughter, knew what was up and got the hell out of there.
How's that for an elaborate experiment huh?

Well couple more games to add to the list.
Tomb Raider: The Last Revalation.
This game started out great. It went back to the original Tomb Raider feel, And I still think that TR 1 and 2 are the better tombraiders. 3 tried to go for a newer feel, which just didn't work for it. I really enjoyed the exploration aspect of some of the levels, but overall, the game was just to long. Levels appeared to be huge, due to the nature in which there were no "level 1, level 2, level 3" instead, it was divided Seven chapters, containing and average of 5-7 levels, totalling 35 levels. But each chapter was like one long level, and you'd back track an awful lot.
Basically, this game would have been great, if they'd made it shorter.
Tomb Raider: Chronicles.
This is one of my new favourite tomb raiders. the whole game is a glance back at the lara's life, the levels aren't to short, but not to long, and overall the game isn't to long either. Unfortunatly, I did miss the mind boggeling puzzles that just didn't seem to be in this version of the game. It's almost like they put no thought in to any of the puzzles. Infact, the most confusing puzzle in it, had the easiest solution. Don't be fooled by the promise of "all new hand to hand combat manouvers" because they consist of finding chloroform and a rag, then sneaking up behind a person (a set person) and then watching a cut-scene. My favourite "new" move, is the forward crawl space dismount. Bout damn' time the added that in.
But still, this game was a good addition to the series.
And that's about it. You'll notice how I refrained from any major comments on game play, because the TR game play has been identicle all the way along, with the exception of TR: AoD and possibly the new one.
