Circket isn't even a sport....it's like an old-fashioned version of golf, made for old ppl. Just like American Football is a ripoff from rugby made for fat guys.

Cricket is quite relaxing to watch. The play is slow and theres a little bit of strategy and arithmetic to keep you interested. The repetition of bowling in itself is pretty relaxing too.

Agreed, I kinda like watching cricket in the very rare moments that it's on tv.
But then again, I dig watching almost all sports, except for running and cycling.

Cricket is one of those games that was created to confuse people.

rugby reminds me of soccer(or football as you like to call it). Its just a bunch of guys running around aimlessly. And rugby doesnt have cheerleaders.

Well, the aim is to score goals....but if you're talking entertainment value sports with cheerleaders obviously do well.
To me it seems that the major difference between Euro and US stadium sports is the 'spectator-friendliness'. After all, baseball is just an excuse to drink beer and eat hotdogs, it's almost a family trip. Someone who loves his wife and children doesn't take them to a football game here, except if he's got 'good' seats (ie expensive ones).

Cricket seems confusing because its on of those rare sports that you cannot understand by just watching it. You need to learn the rules somehow.
I cant believe youre knockin football and rugby! Football is the biggest sport in the world. Rugby pwns american sissy football any day of the week. American football was made for people who enjoy padding up and looking like macho men with face paint while perving over young ladies.
One thing (like Ox said) that sucks about European stadium is the violence and gang aspect.

What's fascinating about many typically American sports (Am. Football, Basketball, Ice Hockey) is that they are packed with tall guys, 6 foot or well over.
Why fascinating? Because the average American male is 'only' (but that's only a W-European perspective I reckon) 5' 9" or 10" (1.74-1.77 cm). While people are taller over here, our sports don't usually involve men that tall. Sure, rugby has its giants, but rarely over 2 metres, and football (soccer) has only average heights.
Which means that in the US society top sports men could very well be in a sort 'caste' in terms of height, succes, finances. Modern übermensche?

i dont know what you mean by 'caste' but consider this. Perhaps their general advantage in height is a penalty to thier lack of finesse?

I meant caste as in India; a seperate segment of society in which someone lives, mainly befriending other people from the same caste etc. blabla
And what do you mean with finesse? Obviously a huge black man of 400 pounds will never be as swift as a feather, but a well-trained man of over 2 meters can still be 'elegant'. That sounded so gay.
