was incredible, when the 3rd went it we thought that was it. we couldn't handle milans diamond formation.

class tactical adjustment by rafa, hamman on, went 3-5-2 which snuffed out the runs from cafu, etc and gerrard wagiven the chance to grab the game by the neck.

as soon as it went 3-3 i turned to my mate and said 'penalties'

just fucking glad we kept our nerve. :D :D :D

if you get the chance to watch it then take it. you won't regret it.

I missed one of the most spectacular combacks in history .. watched the first half, watched another 5 or 10 minutes of the second and then told my gf "hey if you want to watch something else go ahead, this match is over anyway". About 20-25 minutes later she says "hmm i guess it's not over yet, it's 3-3" ..

i thought she was joking, but no, i can't believe i stopped following the match. Dudek the hero of Liverpool, oh sweet irony, he's had tons of criticism, and isn't always that secure (like that ball that Sheba almost gave a chance for a winning goal and got turned by Traore i think).

Still it sucks i missed all the action in the second half.

hah it was such a sweet game, to be fair though i stopped watching at half-time, but my mate still had the tv on in his room and when i went in to ask a question about this damn electronics exam i have today, and i happened to see stevie g score a beautiful header and then 6 minutes later it was 3-3

and in penalties, dudek did bruce grobbelars wobbly leg routine because carragher told him to :) was so funny

For fuck sake! Not only do i hate english teams winning over italian teams, but Scousers?! I fucking hate scousers!

I watched it at my mates house down the road with another 8 lads. They turned the TV round outside onto the front patio. Next door theres a pub, so we kept getting people coming over. At the end it went fucking crazy.

Jesus, that was a game and a half! At half time, i was so please Milan were thumping Liverpool. They were totally outclassed in every way. Milan had the skill, the speed, the ability, the vision. The second half was utter skoolboy on Milans behalf. They fell asleep in their own brilliance and Liverpool (having upped their tempo) stomped on them.

Milan didnt really seem to pull themselves from the bootstraps after that. Their penalties were poor, perhaps because they already felt defeated.

Good game, my congrats to Liverpool, who have won with worthy the Champions league. Lol @ the fact that you wont be able to defend it next year. :D:D:D

actually they haven't ruled on that yet, so it aint over yet.

milan where idd fantastic in the first half, respect to them and their fans for how they took the defeat, very dignified.

Of course, I couldn't see the entire match (working), but GODDAMN that must have rocked. I was watching until 2-0, then when I came back it was 3-3, overtime (man, Shevshenko was SO close to scoring there) and then penalties...

You could already think it would happen, with the mental advantage etc; but still! Congrats BJ and all the Liverpudlians...they always make me think of the Thin Blue Line. :)

As for Italian being sports about it....I'm pretty sure the liverpool 'fans' would have trashed Istanbul completely if it stayed 3-0. As opposed to now, when they only trashed it slightly.

Yeh.

Shevchenko played poorly in my opinion. He had about 4 good goal-scoring opportunities and missed them all.
