It's the same story every year: country a gives 12 points to country b et vica versa. It doesn't even matter much what kind of crap song they send in. Of course, people who watch Eurovision and actually vote for a song are die-hards, you can't expect them to have any taste for good music.

We don't vote on it, but if we did I would be voting for it. I believe that uniting on a grander level is the only way to make a mark in the future; it would work wonders on many lvls such as the economy (at large), and by all sorts of exchanging knowledge and skills between countries.

Having said that, I do have my doubts about some of the E-european countries joining, I believed that could have been held back a bit longer. But still, that's not what this vote is about so meh.

As for the argument of not more govermnent...it's not like the government isn't choking us now, that little extra really won't matter that much.

I'm certainly in favour of a constitution, but not this one. It's simply not good enough. Let European politicians awake with a firm no vote and then start working on a good one. This one is simply too full with shit that shouldn't be in a constitution. A constitution should have the rights and duties of it's citizens, confirm it's democratic institutions, like the tasks and way of electing the governmental bodies, the position of juddges and the seperation of religion and state and more of such things. That doesn't leave you with a 800 page constitution.
Apart from that, politicians act like the Union will fall apart if the constitution is not accepted, but that's bullshit, and the last thing I would hope for.
Finally, I hope that when the constitution is voted against, EU politicians will be too afraid to make another impopular decision by letting Turkey join.

Fair enough....and I'm already glad they decided not to put a reference to God in it (correct me if I'm wrong). I say that's a big plus in terms of human progress.
