Heh, just as I was about to reply, pevil said all that was needed to be said. 11b, I applaud you, and your ability to be an ass.

if you film it in a ratio that the normal tvs work for, you either see less width, or you have to zoom out to get the same amount of width, so everything would be further away just so you could have smaller people and more fucking sky and ground you ignorant fool
11b is for once entirely correct and mole once again is an idiot

At least someone acknowledges my real genius.
agree with franny, if you filmed in that aspect ratio the image and the people would be all disproportionate. It would look like the people where all stretched out.
Plus, if you think your going to get Hollywood to change, you might as well try and get the US to switch to the metric system.

Um, ok, how? I'm not suggesting that I should go to film producers, and say hey, just do this, i'm just saying that if they invented a way to film the extra top and bottom bits, so that widescreen on normal screen, even if it were cropped at the edges, had the extra top and bottom bits of the unused television screen filled in, we could have all sorts of shit, like planes crashes in the back ground and stuff. It'd make shooting tall man little man sequences easier, shooting tall buildings, etc, because it would just film normally, but more of it.

Mole, you are really starting to test me now
That whole post makes less sense than an essay on the Impact of Bananas on Star Trek compiled by none other than GFreeman.
Im sure if they wanted to "invent" this new filming aspect ratio, they would have done by now. In my opinion, i prefer seeing a panoramic image.
